Pip  is a highly experienced Australian director, actor, and writer whose career encompasses major contributions to theatre, film, and television, marked by both critical acclaim and commercial success. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Acting) and the Victorian College of the Arts (Film andTelevision Directing), Pip has established himself as a versatile creative voice in the Australian performing arts industry.
As Resident Director Pip has worked on some of Australia’s most prestigius theatrical productions, including the record-breaking Australian premiere of the multi-Tony Award-winning phenomenon The Book of Mormon; Hal Prince’s legendary revival of Evita starring one of Australia’s most iconic performers, Tina Arena; Fiddler on the Roof featuring Australian and international star Anthony Warlow; and the world-premiere national tour of the beloved Australian comedy Mother and Son. 
Pip made his directorial debut with Neil Simon’s Biloxi Blues, a production subsequently nominated by the Victorian Drama League as one of the year’s “Most Outstanding and Memorable Theatrical Productions of the Year”. Pip’s other directing credits reflect a wide repertoire, from major new works to contemporary and classic musicals. Recent productions include the world premiere of Midnight- The Cinderella Musical, Avenue Q (AG Theatre), Dogfight and Little Women. Pip  also directed acclaimed productions of Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Yentl the Yeshivah Boy, Merrily We Roll Along and Arafat in Therapy.  Pip's productions of Avenue Q and Falsettos with JYM Theatre Co received Victorian Music Theatre Guild Award nominations for both Best Director and Best Production.
 In 2023, Pip along with collaborator Dean Murphy, co-wrote and co-directed the world premiere of Midnight - The Cinderella Story, a new Australian musical that addeddeveloping fresh andambitious work.

For film Pip  wrote and directed the romantic comedy, Josh Jarman. The film premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festivam and was released Australia wide through Hoyts Cinemas and the Showtime channel on Foxtel. The film was subsequently selected for numerous international film festivals including the prestigious London-Australian Film Festival (closing night film), the SXSW Film Festival and the International Hollywood Film Festival .

Pip has also directed and produced many hours of variety and comedy on numerous programs for the Nine Network, Seven Network and Foxtel including Wine Me - Dine Me, Toon Time, Molly's Trivia Quiz, Living With, Fox Footy Quiz and The Bounce. Pip gained a reputation for his comedic insights as a director and enjoyed successful stints as creative and comedy producer on shows such as The Late Report, Live and Kicking, Four Quarters and Steve Vizard’s Tonight Live. 

As an actor Pip has numerous film and television credits to his name and is well known for his role in Baz Luhrman's international hit Strictly Ballroom (as Wayne Burns), the multi award winning ABC TV satire Frontline (as Stu) and as Zelman in Peter Jackson’s mega blockbuster King Kong. Other film credits include Queen of the Damned, The Very Excellent Mr Dundee, Muggers, Fat Pizza, The Subjects, Crime Time and Breakaway. 
Pip has also featured as a guest artist on numerous Australian television shows including Halifax FP, Secret Life of Us, Good Guys Bad Guys, Blue Heelers, Mission Impossible and Time Trax. Pip also showed his versatility as co-host of the Blockbuster Entertainment Movie Show spanning 26 episodes on Network Ten. On stage, Pip has enjoyed performing with a variety of Australian theatre company’s including the Melbourne Theatre Company and Playbox Theatre.
